The Why behind Grateful Cratefulls
Our Story
In 2018, our family faced one of the hardest seasons of our lives when someone we loved was diagnosed with glioblastoma.
We couldn't change the diagnosis, but we could show up. Guided by our faith, our family organized benefits and fundraisers, and what happened next changed us.
Small businesses, friends, family members and even complete strangers surrounded our family with extraordinary generosity and kindness.
We were incredibly grateful—and we knew we wanted to find a way to pass that kindness forward.
The Spark That Started It All
That experience became Grateful Cratefulls.
We created a gifting company rooted in a simple belief: sometimes a thoughtful gift says what words can't.
It can celebrate a win. Bring comfort during a difficult season. Say thank you. Recognize someone who matters. Or simply remind someone that they're seen and thought of.
What began as our family's response to kindness has grown into something we're incredibly proud of—helping people and businesses create those moments for others.
What We Do Today
Today, Grateful Cratefulls creates thoughtfully curated gifts for both personal and business gifting—from birthdays, sympathy and celebrations to employee appreciation, client gifts, milestones, events and holidays.
We proudly feature products from North Dakota and makers throughout the Midwest, along with carefully selected products from beyond the region when they're the perfect fit.

A Little Recognition Along the Way
We've been grateful for some pretty special recognition along the way.
Grateful Cratefulls was named #1 Woman-Owned Small Business in North Dakota by Wishlisted.com and received the Pray for Gray Humanitarian Award for our support of their work helping individuals and families affected by brain tumors.
Both mean a lot to us, but especially because they reflect something that's been important to Grateful Cratefulls from the beginning — using what we do to spread a little kindness and help others.
