Making Business Gifts Feel Personal At Scale
Personal Doesn't Have to Mean Different
One question we get with larger gifting projects is: How do we make this feel personal when we're sending the same gift to 50, 100 or even 500 people?
After putting together thousands of gifts, I've learned that personal doesn't have to mean different.
One great gift can work for everyone. What makes it personal are the details around it.
Don't Underestimate the Card
I probably sound like a broken record about cards, but I've seen how much they matter.
Instead of simply Thank you for your business, tell them what you're thankful for. Celebrate the anniversary. Welcome them to the team. Tell them why they're appreciated.
It doesn't have to be long. It just needs to sound like it came from a person.
Add the Details That Make Sense
Maybe it's a custom box in company colors. Maybe it's a name on the card, a favorite local product or some of our subtle swag. Or maybe this is the perfect time to go all in with the branding.
Every project is a little different.
But one thing we've learned over and over is this:
Personal and complicated don't have to be the same thing.
A good gift, the right details and a genuine message can make 100 people feel appreciated without creating 100 different gifts.
